Markora Digital Solutions GmbH from Wettenberg/Launsbach develops digital solutions for the ventilation industry. The core product is a digital measurement program for ventilation ducts and fittings that works on all devices. HVAC technicians worldwide traditionally work with pen and paper — Markora digitalizes this process from the ground up.
HVAC technicians worldwide traditionally measure ducts and fittings manually with pen and paper, then transfer data back at the office — a time-consuming, error-prone process. Markora Digital Solutions needed an app that captures measurements digitally on-site, validates them according to DIN 18379, and automatically generates industry-standard documentation. The solution had to work on all devices, support offline usage, and serve multiple companies simultaneously as a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
We started with the proposal in April 2021, and the beta was already live by May 2021. We developed a cross-platform app with Flutter (mobile) and Vue.js (web). As measurements are entered, the system renders real-time 3D visualizations of all duct components based on the entered dimensions — directly on the technician's device. Captured measurements sync to the web platform in fractions of a second.
In the office, staff can review the data and automatically export print-ready PDF orders and industry-standard XML documents — paperless and directly compatible with existing ERP and inventory systems. The multi-tenant SaaS architecture gives each company its own workspace with individual users, projects, and settings. Full offline functionality ensures construction sites without internet are never a problem.
Technicians save up to 80% of documentation time on-site. Automatic 3D visualization eliminates interpretation errors in measurement transfer. Version 1.0 was delivered in August 2021 — just four months after the initial proposal.
Years of continuous development followed (2021–2024), leading to Version 2.0 with comprehensive enhancements in April 2025. GOLLE IT maintains an ongoing partnership with Markora.
